How far in advance should we book?

January, February, March, April, October, November, December are peak wedding and event months meaning we can book out 12 months in advance! We invite you to touch base with us so we can advise of date availability. It is never to early or late to discuss your event with us.

Can we request songs to be played?

Most definitely! Our DJs are trained in reading the crowd and playing music that best fills your dancefloor. We want to play the music that is most suited to yourself and your guests. We would like to spend some time prior to the event discussing your song requests. We encourage you to advise us of requests and audience demographics so we can carefully craft suitable playlists that will accommodate all guests.

What areas do you supply your DJ services to?

At Melbourne DJ Co we consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have the ability to travel Victoria wide to supply our DJ services. We have provided our entertainment within the Yarra Valley, Dandenongs, Mornington Peninsula, Geelong, Swan Hill, Melbourne CBD and so much more!

What time will setup occur on the day of the event?

Our DJ’s arrive at the venue at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled commencement time. The timing is then allocated to setting up the equipment, performing relevant testing and reviewing the running sheet as we want to ensure all runs smoothly! For corporate set ups we can arrange custom bump in times that reflect the requirements of your event.

Can Melbourne DJ Co include MC Services?

At Melbourne DJ Co we are all about creating a personalised service for your event therefore we encourage a family or friend to perform the MC duties. Your elected MC should be someone that is well spoken, confident and organised allowing formalities to be announced clearly and on time to ensure you have plenty of dance time! However should you want a professional MC to take the stress off your hands we can provide you with the details of some of our trusted industry suppliers.

How do deposits and payments work?

When booking with Melbourne DJ Co we require an initial non refundable booking fee to secure your event date, which will then be deducted from your final invoice amount. A formal booking confirmation will then be forwarded to you outlining payment requirements prior to your event.

Is there any additional charges involved with booking?

When booking with Melbourne DJ Co your personalised quotation is inclusive of the total costs based on the information you have provided for your event. There are no additional charges involved with the set up, pack up or travel.

Do you offer any additional services?

Postponing or cancellation of the event?

We will provide you with our terms and conditions upon booking. In the unfortunate circumstance where you have to postpone or cancel your event please touch base as soon as possible so we can discuss your requirements and how we can best assist you.
